Earlier, at least 24 people were killed in Israeli air strikes on two buildings east of the southern Lebanese city of Sidon. The Health Ministry said that at least 29 people were also injured in the attacks. At the same time, the second attack took place on the adjacent building, causing it to first tilt to the right, then collapse. Israeli air strikes have intensified in the south of Lebanon and the Bekaa region on Sunday.
Attack on several Houthi rebel bases
After the attack on Hezbollah, Israel is also attacking Houthi rebel bases in Yemen. The Israeli army said in a statement that on Sunday afternoon, Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out dozens of attacks on Houthi rebel bases in Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah. According to a statement by the Israeli Defense Forces, the air strikes targeted dozens of aircraft, including fighter jets, power plants and a seaport at Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports in Yemen. The Israeli army said that dozens of aircraft have attacked Houthi bases in Yemen in response to the recent attack on Israel.
